Cincinnati Cancer Foundation (CCF) is proud to announce the return of its fifth annual, newly-renamed “Steve Abbott Memorial Golf Classic” at Clovernook Country Club. This always fun, memorable day will honor the determination and advocacy of CCF’s late Executive Director to combat cancer - an adversary that still kills more than 600,000 Americans and 4,000 Greater Cincinnatians each year.
Steve was a fighter who “came out swinging” through his 11-year battle with advanced prostate cancer. He refused to let his diagnosis affect his daily life or purpose at CCF. He loved his work, his family, his friends, and seeing the world in all its beauty. This premier golf outing will continue to unite Bearcats and Musketeers vs. Cancer while harnessing Steve’s energy and the power of HOPE - a quality that holds tremendous value at CCF. Steve said it best, “I don’t know what the future holds, but I do know one thing: there is no substitute for hope when fighting cancer.”
Net proceeds from the event will benefit the Cincinnati Cancer Foundation, powering the no-cost, world-class consultative oncology, genetic counseling, and financial navigation services at Cincinnati Cancer Advisors. Event Schedule

9:30 a.m. – Registration opens for golfers attending the breakfast.
10:00 a.m. – 10:40 a.m. - “Breakfast with the Bengals” (round table discussion featuring Anthony Munoz, Jim Breech, Dave Lapham, and Max Montoya).
10:40 a.m. – 11:15 a.m. – Bourbon Mall opens; Registration continues.
11:15 a.m. – Announcements and instructions to golfers; golfers go to starting hole.
11:30 a.m. – Golf outing begins (shotgun start).
3:45 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. - Golfers finish their rounds and return to the clubhouse. Open bar and “dinner by the bite” available. Bourbon Mall reopens. Music by Jim Kennedy.
4:30 p.m. – 4:45 p.m. - Dr. Barrett welcomes the crowd; contest winners announced.
4:45 p.m. – 5:45 p.m. - Happy hour continues; music by Jim Kennedy.
6:00 p.m. – Event concludes.
